Matese was established by an Italian gentleman who came from a small town called Matese. He believed in homemade food with a superb sauce made from special ingredients. Matese is known for its Sicilian Pies & its Spinach Alfredo Pies. The original owner still works at Matese because he believes in stellar customer service and that the secret of the sauce should be kept. It is a way of life for him and not a job because he enjoys his work. Matese is best known for freshly cooked cuisine, large portions, great service and affordable prices.

Hello! My name is Joseph and I am the new owner of Matese Pizzeria Restaurant. I purchased the business in October of 2016. Formally, I owned Barone Pizza in Flushing on Main St. for over 40 years. I take pride in the quality food and service provided here at the new Matese Pizzeria Restaurant.
